Carlos Bardavío, Managing Partner of Bardavío Abogados, has obtained the degree of PhD of Law with the highest grade of outstanding cum laude unanimously of the Thesis Tribunal, formed by the Professor of Criminal Law of the University of Alcalá de Henares, Dr. Esteban Mestre Delgado (President of the Court), Dr. Myriam Herrera (Professor of Criminal Law at the Hispalense University of Seville), Dr. Elena Torres (Professor of Criminal Law at the University of Almería), Dr. José Manuel Ríos Corbacho (Professor of Criminal Law at the University of Cádiz) and Dr. Edgar Iván Colina Ramirez (Professor of Criminal Law at the Seville University of Seville).

Carlos Bardavío has been invited to participate as a speaker at the III National Meeting of Professionals, Family Members and Former Members of Cults organized by the Ibero-American Association for the Investigation of Psychological Abuse (AIIAP) and the Working Group on Sectarian Drifts of the Official College of Psychology of Catalonia (COPC), next March 3 and 4 in Malaga.

His paper will speak on "The crime of coercive persuasion", as part of his doctoral thesis that he will defend next February 10 at the Hispalense University of Seville.
